During checkout, these providers may collect or receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, payment method details, order amount, currency, device information and transaction-security data.

GeniusWP generally receives limited payment information, such as payment confirmation, transaction status, payment method type, gateway transaction or reference ID, amount, fraud or risk indicators, and refund or dispute details.

We do not intentionally collect or store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password or other payment authentication credentials on GeniusWP systems. These credentials are entered into and processed through the relevant payment provider or financial institution. 2.6 Information from third parties

We may receive personal data from payment providers, fraud-prevention services, email-delivery providers, analytics providers, product publishers or service partners when necessary to process transactions, deliver the Services, provide support, prevent misuse or comply with law.

3. How We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

  • Create, secure and manage user accounts;

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders and lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not use personal data for a new purpose that is incompatible with the purpose for which it was collected unless permitted by law or after providing an appropriate notice and obtaining consent where required.

4. Grounds for Processing

We process personal data only for a lawful purpose. Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, processing may be based on:

  • Your consent;

  • Personal data voluntarily provided by you for a specified purpose, such as placing an order or requesting support;

  • The steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you;

  • Compliance with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory or payment obligations;

  • Protection of users, systems and transactions against fraud and security threats;

  • Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Services, where recognised by applicable law and not overridden by your rights; or

  • Another ground authorised by applicable law.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent through the method provided at collection or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully, and it may prevent us from providing a feature that requires the relevant data.

5. Payment Processing

When you select Cashfree Payments or Stripe at checkout, relevant transaction and personal data is transmitted to the selected provider and its financial partners to authenticate the payment, prevent fraud, complete settlement, handle refunds or disputes and comply with payment laws.

Depending on the transaction, the provider may share information with banks, card networks, UPI participants, payment-method providers, identity or fraud-prevention services and regulatory authorities. GeniusWP does not control the provider’s independent processing of personal data. We encourage you to review the privacy policy shown by the selected payment provider before completing payment.

We may retain the order amount, currency, status, gateway reference, selected payment method type, limited fraud-prevention information, invoice information, refund details and related correspondence. We do not intentionally retain complete payment authentication credentials.
